Характеристики

The RCount visitor counter was designed for accurate visitor counting in retail stores and shopping malls, with dense passing traffic, and in places with unstable lighting. The counting of visitors under the counter is carried out according to the determination of the head of each passing person so that it is possible to accurately count. The main feature of the RCount is the ability to exclude shadows, sun glare, children, grocery carts, etc. from the count.

How does it work:

  • Two graphical sensors send data to the counter's processor, which creates a 3D model of object movement that allows the visitor's position and size to be detected with high accuracy.
  • The processor compares the obtained two images and finds the matching parts in them; based on the collected data, it calculates and recreates a 3D model of the space. Then, using the built-in software, the processor detects visitors who have passed through the counting point.
  • The collected data is saved by the processor to FLASH memory and then transferred via the network to the data processing system.
